Taste
Very full-bodied and powerful. The initial alder smoke flavor is balanced by sweet chocolate, nuts, and dark toffee. The finish reveals a pleasant warmth of alcohol, leaving a gently spicy glow in the mouth.
Appearance
A dark brown beer with a small but well-retaining brown head.
Nose
Delicately smoky, sweetly chocolatey, with a hint of tobacco. In the background, a slightly tart coffee note can also be detected.
