Taste
The flavor is on the sweeter side and carries a warming alcohol presence. The initial velvety milk chocolaty taste is balanced with spicy vanilla notes and an elegant touch of cognac. The background reveals overripe stone fruits – plums, apricots, and peaches. The aftertaste is long and silky, leaving a pleasant nutty liqueur-like sweetness on the palate.
Appearance
A black beer with a slightly reddish hue, featuring a smaller but long-lasting beige head.
Nose
Highly aromatic with a room-filling bouquet. The scent reveals notes of vanilla, tobacco, lightly roasted oak, dark chocolate, and fruitier tones like raisins, dried dates, and plums, along with a pinch of clove and cinnamon.
